One of my favorite parts of designing our garage kitchenette was choosing the wallpaper. I knew I wanted something that would add personality and pattern without overpowering the space and when I found the Cubic Blossoms wallpaper from Love vs Design, I knew it was the one.

The pattern brings just the right amount of texture and visual interest to the room while still feeling timeless and classic. And honestly? It was probably the easiest wallpaper I’ve ever installed.

The Wallpaper We Chose

For this space I used the Cubic Blossoms wallpaper from Love vs Design.

The colors I selected were:

  • Background color: Ceramic
  • Blossoms color: Sterling

This combination creates a soft blue-gray pattern that pairs beautifully with the other finishes in the kitchenette.

Why I Love Love vs Design Wallpaper

One of the coolest things about Love vs Design is that their wallpaper is completely customizable. Instead of being stuck with a standard color palette, you can actually customize the colors on any wallpaper design.

They offer a large variety of color options so you can truly tailor the wallpaper to your space.

Even better, they have an online visualizer tool that allows you to:

  1. Upload a photo of your space
  2. Choose your wallpaper design
  3. See what it will look like in your room before ordering

This is incredibly helpful when you’re trying to decide on colors or patterns. It takes so much of the guesswork out of choosing wallpaper.

The Wallpaper Material I Used

Love vs Design offers several wallpaper materials, and for this project I chose Glissade. And I have to say it might be the easiest wallpaper I’ve ever worked with.

The Glissade wallpaper comes pre-pasted, which makes installation super simple.

Here’s how it works:

  • Spray the wall with water
  • Spray the back of the wallpaper panel
  • Apply it directly to the wall

That’s it. Normally, with pre-pasted wallpaper, you have to soak and book it before installing. Sometimes you even have to apply additional wallpaper adhesive to the wall or the back of the panel. But with this wallpaper, the spray bottle method makes the process much quicker and easier.

Why This Wallpaper Works So Well in the Kitchenette

The Cubic Blossoms pattern adds just the right amount of texture without feeling busy.

It pairs perfectly with:

The wallpaper really helps soften the space and makes the kitchenette feel finished and intentional. Sometimes it’s the patterned elements in a room that bring everything together, and that’s exactly what this wallpaper did.
